Analyze Data
A variety of open-source tools (NCI-based as well as extramural) are freely available to researchers so that they can visualize, explore, and integrate TARGET data. Some NCI tools, such as the Cancer Molecular Analysis Portal and the Cancer Genome Workbench, were developed through the NCI's caBIG initiative. Learn about these tools below.
| Organization | View | Description | Platform |
| NCICB | Cancer Molecular Analysis (CMA) Portal | The Cancer Molecular Analysis Portal (CMA), a component of the National Cancer Institute's caBIG™ initiative, is designed to enable researchers to integrate, visualize, and explore clinical and genomic characterization data from translational research studies, such as the Therapeutically Applicable Research to Generate Effective Treatments (TARGET) Program. | Any (browser based) |
| NCICB | Cancer Genome Workbench (CGWB) | The Cancer Genome Workbench is a viewer for integrated cancer genomic data. | Any (browser based) |
